Laurence Mascera
Chief Administrive Officer

Mr. Mascera joined Broadpoint in 2008 as Chief Administrative Officer where he heads and is responsible for Broadpoint’s Information Technology, Operations, and Facilities Departments. Previously, he served as Global Head of Institutional Sales Technology at Merrill Lynch responsible for IT planning, strategy, and delivery of applications for Institutional Sales. Prior to Merrill Lynch, Mr. Mascera spent 8 years with Cowen and Company as Director heading technology for several business lines including Institutional Sales, Investment Banking, Research, Operations, Human Resources, Compliance, and Accounting and Finance. Prior to joining Cowen, Mr. Mascera provided IT management consulting services to the Executive Team at The Depository Trust Company, was Vice President and head of application infrastructure & development in the Retail Branch Systems group at Smith Barney and served as Assistant Vice President in the Branch Systems group at Paine Webber. Mr. Mascera received a B.B.A. in Finance from Hofstra University and an M.S. in Information Technology from Long Island University.
